Alright… I watched Dave in Ky’s shave video. I gotta try it eventually if the pass around is still open . I give in. Josh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The posts have been restored to this thread. My apologies to everyone for not being on the same page and misunderstanding what JoAnna and I had discussed about SoD type posts outside the Shower or Shave forum. My fault and I take full responsibility. Happy TARMAX shaves everyone.

One thing I will do before using is teflon tape the threads to see if that is enough to create a tighter fit for the short term.
If you are handy with a drill and have nerve to drill a small hole in the threads, then put a small piece of plastic rod in it. You could use the plastic as a friction lock. That would work also. So are you game?
If the tape doesn't work, I'll do that next. I have plumber and the thicker yellow gas tape, between those I should be able to get a tight thread. The only thing is opening and closing it a few times if that will cut the tape in too much.
Teflon tape doesn't work for multiple revolutions after trying. It does stiffen it up but it also rips it off when you loosen up the handle. Next up some sort of crush washer with a spacer and / or spring if I get time to go to the hardware store on Monday. I'd prefer not to modify the actual razor as my first option.
