    Yep, me too.

    1. MUST have been an active seller for at least 24 months.
    2. MUST have at least 300 prior transactions.
    3. MUST have at least 99.0% positive feedback.
    4. MUST have sold similar item(s) in the past.

I don't vary from this policy. I don't care if the seller listed a 24k gold brick and I can "buy it now" for 99 cents.
If the above requirements aren't met, I just move on. I've probably purchased 3-4 dozen items on Ebay over the
past 5-7 years, and I've not had even 1 bad transaction. I'm sticking to my rules.

I'd say that's a safe bet. If it's not a well established seller with mostly positive feedback I will avoid them like the plague...Jim bob with 1 positive rating for a $2 purchase he made 3 days ago won't get a shot at my money.

I don't care much about feedback. If the seller has something I want I buy it.
Should trouble arise, paypal will reimburse me

I have a few thousand transactions on ebay and have only had trouble twice. Both was solved after a quick report to ebay support.

Or it could be that people have weekend plans and Ebay is the furthest thing from their minds. What's the turn around say on the auction page? And remember those are business days.

Well lo and behold I got a message today from the seller.

She writes she's sorry for not getting back to me because - and get this (best excuse ever): She's getting married on Monday.
Having said that, she said she'll try to get it out Monday - Tuesday at the latest.

Sounds to me like she's more than keeping up her end of the bargain. Hopefully you told her to not worry about shipping the package until after the wedding, and oh, by the way...congratulations on your wedding! ;)
