Jim saved the original knot, and then made a duplicate brush #311. It is now part of my brush rotation. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
My 400 made it then I sent it to @jimjo1031 and he put a new knot in it and cleaned and polished it. He did a fantastic job and I want to thank him for all his hard work! It lathers well and I really enjoyed it this morning with my double ring!
Here are the pre-bloom photos of my B-400 by Tom aluminum handle with a 23 mm Envy White Supreme Two-band fan shaped knot. I set it at a 54 mm. A big thanks to @twhite for this beautifully crafted handle and to @clint64 and@Boojum1 for helping me select the knot.
Unfortunately I am not. No more making anything at work. It is now forbidden. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
Thank you. It is a beautifully crafted handle, and I'm fortunate to have it. I purchased this one from Tom last spring.
The T400 is pretty spectacular; I especially like how you can disassemble the handle. I love the Rubberset 400, but couldn't abide the inflated auction prices. So, I got the one-piece Razorock version. I'd never owned a synthetic brush, so I was surprised that the performance was equal to badger. For $20, you really can't beat the value...
same reason i purchased my rr 400. works excellent and satisfies the craving without the big pricetag...
Any 400 club members have preferences for sanding in a) the same direction or b) opposite directions at grit change when restoring these brushes? Thoughts and ideas much appreciated ☺
