There were razors and brushes and other props? Didn't notice. I was too busy focusing on that pretty redheaded lass doing that little bit of barbering. Who was that anyway?
Never would have guessed you did not do this regularly! You perform like a regular consultant on the show. It won't be long now til you have your own program, I'm certain of it.
Elle's gonna become such a big TV star we won't be able to communicate with her without going through channels..
Well it is official, the person that put us millionsinto the hole just got picked up by another district. Woo Hoo! Maybe things can be put back together in some resemblance of sanity next year!
My wife had picked up the Masa I needed to make Pinole cakes last night. Taste great and fueled a good run. The texture was a just slightly crumbly, I think I'll add a TBS of peanut butter next time.
Firstly thanks so much everyone... And I think fame is a far call for me - I'm just hoping to land the job I have an interview for tomorrow - I just want regular decent work! What's a pinole cake? Pictures please?:2thumbs:
I attempted to grow a beard 2 years ago (at 19). To sum up the effort: My mum's first reaction was "oh my god" and my brother said that I looked like a terrorist. It was shaved off not long after. Your interview was great, good luck getting the job!!
Yesterday was the last regular school day for students. (For the next week or so, they have state exams.) So my grades are in, and I am counting down to my summer vacation!
The price of gas dropped again today! It's dropped by almost 80 cents a gallon over the past month. Let's hope it keeps going down!
I finally found the perfect combination of elements for my perfect shave: Gillette Fat Boy Adjustable (set to 3) Feather Blades (3rd or fourth shave) H.I.M. synthetic brush Figaro Hungarian Shaving Cream Witch Hazel Master's Bay Rum Vitalis Hair Tonic I leave the house swathed in the scent of an old time barbershop. Magnificent. 2 days in a row! Does this mean I will stop looking for new things to try? Of course not. It just means I have a benchmark standard to place them against. But, since Master's bay rum was a recent purchase for me, (and local too!) I have a world of bay rum scents to explore. My only previous encounter with bay rum was Old Spice Classic, which I didn't know was a bay rum until recently.
For me, feather blades are almost too sharp on the first shave. Almost. By shave 3 and 4 they've settled down and are wonderful. By the 5th or 6th they are ready for the blade bank. Feathers, like Gillette Fat Boys, deserve the hype. Also like them, they don't work for everybody. But for those they do....pure bliss!
