Yes, Eccleston starting with Rose. In the last three days were through WWIII. They want to watch in order. I don't think three of them would like the classic series, but the biggest fan among them I suspect would.
Ya I just got through watching one of the Tom maker classics..the doctor with the funny scarf and jelly baby candies at the ready. Lol he was slaying vampires. One thing I find about the old series is that there seemed to be some humor injected at just the right moments, particularly throughout the Baker episodes..seems to add a touch of humanity to the mix. The new series does have it's merits too...
Cross post from "How's your Day" : Well, I just had vacation guitar lesson #3... it seems that I'm making some real progress after about 20 years of not playing (and knowing only a few basic chords). Seems that I remember more than I thought. Yeah, me!
I made another big batch of soap today (mostly bath soap.) The house always smells so good when I make soap. That is part of the fun.
Finished the final stage of a dental implant today. No pain & nice to have a full set of teeth again.
Had a new showerhead installed this week. It's angle can be adjusted, making it possible to sit on a shower bench to shave my legs. Much easier that way.
Yeah, another running post on this thread by me. Did 11.73 miles and felt great. Best long run yet by far.
I saw Sam Roberts tonight with my wife. He was performing at the latest it's fair. Im a pretty big fan so I was excited to be there!
I saw them back in May when when they were playing at the casino in Windsor. They put on one heck of show.
Yesterday, I spent the day with a friend, whom I had not seen in a while. I gave her husband some handmade shaving goodies & he sent me home with his Dad's old brush, so I can re-knot it for him.
I met my childhood hero today, so I could NOT pass up the photo op. Fred Penner was in town for our city's fair. Growing up I watched his show every day and I went to all his concerts when he came to town!
Picked up a copy of the Underdog movie on Blu-ray for $8 last night! I've been wanting that movie for a long time, nearly bought it on DVD several times, but I'm glad I waited.
Just found out that the complete New Adventures of Mighty Mouse is available on DVD! And I got an invite to join Letterboxd.com which is pretty darned awesome for a movie lover like me.
letterboxd is a bit more social, you can create lists, write reviews, follow other users, etc. I've never really delved into IMDB, so I'm not sure if you can do those things or not.
