Things turned out better than expected with the boss today! I went to talk to him about a new computer. He had approved a brand new laptop but it wasn't pushed through the system yet, and I was having second thoughts because I also want the school to buy me a tablet. So I proposed a lesser, refurbished computer to make up the difference in cost. He said to order the better computer and the tablet! WooHoo!!
I sent a brush I built & one of my soaps to a friend. He called today to tell me he got them, adding "I am excited about shaving tomorrow. I've never been excited about shaving in my life."
So im taking my camping down in Waterton on Wednesday. We were going to borrow my father in laws tent, and when we set it up yesterday it was full of mold! NASTY! We were considering buying one but I had the feeling we shouldn't. My wife talked to her dad about it and he had told her to keep the tent. I came home today, set it up, and scrubbed with a toothbrush, sponge, and magic eraser (very gently of course), and it came clean after a few hours. Some of the staining wouldn't come out, but the mold is gone! now we have a 6 man tent!
Heading over to Philly and the Franklin Institute. They have the Dead Sea Scrolls on display. Should be interesting.
Awesome! I'm going to be in Philly most of next week. I might just have to check that out while I'm there.
I just stopped at my local Trader Joe's and one of their new items is a puck (for lack of a better term) of dark chocolate with salt and black pepper. Boy, is it good!
I went antiquing this weekend and found a pretty blue glass canning jar. (I keep my scented bath salts in it.) With a little research, I have found out that it is just about 100 years old.
Well the nice thing here is that if you happened to get a little in the corners of your mouth, no big deal. In fact, you may find it hard to keep the lather around your lips from disappearing before you get to it with the razor!
My wife and I just completed IVF for the final round of many over the past six years. It went perfectly, and I'll be sharing pictures in 40 weeks!
