Bismarck Solingen Germany 11/16th+ Full Hollow ground Before: Rust and pitting everywhere. The silver plating on the scales looked pretty bad too.
Well, hours of wet sanding progression, all the way to 2500 grit, and it is as shiny as I want it. I also Cold Blued the tang and spine, as it originally was. In the process, I dulled the edge several times, but when sanding, the edge finds it way to being sharp again. I have three nice cuts on my fingers to prove this. One needed Crazy glue to close it. After: I'm glad to be finished with this one. Next up is the hones for this.
