They melt or dissolve in alcohol. For an aftershave you can usually just crush them put them in and shake until dissolved, for soaps melt the soap and stir them in. Creams I haven't done, but you could probably do the same. Just a pinch would be plenty for a whole tub.

So for a cream are you saying heat it up and add a chunk of crystal? Or do you turn the crystal into a powder and just sprinkle it in? I had no idea menthol was a crystal. Guess I never really though about what I thought it was; but I definitely didn't think it was a crystal.

add it while it is a liquid, and stir it in. If you are interested in trying some I can send you a bit to test.

Shep, you can also just put a pinch of the crystals in a metal spoon and use a lighter to melt the crystals. Then just dump the liquified menthol into your tub of cream. That way you are not adding any extra water or alcohol to it.

If that's the case would I be doing Crystal Menth? Need to check with the job about this. :D

I just stopped by my local Body Shop on my way home from work and was able to grab their absolute last tube of the old shave cream - no more tubs. Priced at $5.00, it actually came to $3.20 with tax! Excellent price for any shave cream! The girl also gave me a sample of the new Maca root stuff to try.

I might have to try this cream again tonight!

I can vouch for the Maca Root -- it's great stuff.

If you try it and hands down decide you've gotta have another, I've got 3 tubs left. They came to 11.46 shipped I believe. Not 3.30 but still better than 16. :happy088

I think you're gonna like it. It's a great cream.

I actually have owned it before - sold it off way back when. So this isn't my first time using it.

I bought the last 4 tubs my local Body Shop had. I already had two, so if anybody can't find it, or live too far from a Body Shop, you can have them for what I paid, $7 per tub and I will pay the shipping. Let me know if interested.

Got my tub from Shep as well and I can say that i like this stuff! 6 oz and no whipped air. What a solid performer and the smell is nice! 1 tub is enough though since it will last me forever! Thanks Shep!

You're welcome gents. Glad you like it. A sandalwood scent huh? I'd never considered that but it fits. I'd always considered it kind of spicy, not exactly like cinnamon but enough to remind me of it. I always think holiday smells when I open a tub.

When this was still on the TBS website, it was listed as containing sandalwood EO. However, it had never been listed on the ingredient list on the tubs. It just lists Fragrance........
