...Well I have a CT now! It reads "and doggone it, people like me" (yay) . It can only be from the fact that somehow my like count is growing MUCH faster than my post count. What can I say...it must be the avatar! LOL!
Well, now I have a CT. This one I really appreciate. Burma-Vita, the company that made Burma Shave (before being sold to ASR) seemed to be an excellent company to work for. You probably did not make a lot of money, but they always seemed to be truly consumer oriented in everything they did. I had posted Burma Shave signs and slogans on this thread: http://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/signs-of-a-bygone-era-burma-shave.25435/ I also welcome new members with my own Burma Shave slogan fitted especially for TSD. Welcome to the Den. We know you'll fit right in. So grab yourself a comfy chair, and give our threads a spin! Burma Shave All in all, I am very pleased with this CT!
the funniest part, until your "clue", I was seriously having a difficult time remembering my old one!
It's fairly rare for anyone to get a CT change. You should share the old one and where it came from. If you can remember. ;P
oooh! I'm rare! (aww, forget it, yo holmes, to Bel-Air!) Yeah, I'll share it when I get back in a bit EDIT: alright, I'm back (some 3 hours later ) I don't remember the exact details of it, but it involves myself, JoAnna, and various different discussions in different threads where I was being a nuisance, in an attempt at humor.... Lesson learned: don't humorously mess with the mods and their fun, or you just might become the next "Anti-Comedian"
I agree completely. Aaron was a great help to me when I was trying to figure out a brush decision. I'd almost suggest a tweak to Professor Brush, Brush Prof, or the like as he certainly schooled me! Brushologist though is certainly fitting for all the. Rush knowledge he has.
What a neat thread! I'm not active enough to warrant a CT, it took me three years to get past 1,000 posts (having joined in June of 2008). But, this thread has been a fun read!
I think I am too active! I should be working, but instead I take pictures of soaps, brushes and the like and post them on a web page to be viewed by a bunch of other people who probably should be working as well. I love this place!
I hearby knight thee, "Sir Nice-a-Lot". You're always cheerful and have good things to say. I admire that.
