I forgot about that guy in NJ. Another was the turkish site (best shave). He had good prices on Arko and is where I first tried the Permasharp super blades.

Two aftershaves immediately come to mind. One is Vi-Jon “Spice. It wasn’t my favorite, but I did like the scent very much. The other was Shop-Rite’s (local supermarket chain) knockoff of skin bracer. I can’t remember the name of it, but it was fantastic!

Route 66 Bourbon Jungle. Good soap, and to this day that is my favorite scent in all of shaving.

Another vote for I Coloniali shaving soap. The soap was unique, with top end performance, fragrance, appearance, and packaging. It remains the equal of any shaving soap currently on the market.

This site was in Turkey. I was able to get a brush, some soap, and a hammered copper shave cup before they closed and before I could snag a Yuma razor.

Mickey Lee Soapworks. I loved her soaps but the company is no more.

That may be true. I believe it was discontinued when I re-entered the wet-shaving scene in February of 2014.

First thing that comes to mind is Old Spice Smooth Blast from 10 or so years back. A kinda herbal/woody version of O.S. if you can picture that and yes, it worked.

It was perfect the way it was so of course, they just had to change it.

Stephan’s Island Lime A.S. I heard good things.

AoS tallow soap - great stuff so of course they reformulate it.

Queen Charlotte Soaps shaving cream - a great performer for me and especially under high heat for some hot lather.

Mühle 2011 R41 - Once again a classic that was reformulated. I hope I never drop mine.

I liked shop-rite version too, it was better than skin bracer.

Yes it was! I wanted to say that, but I didn’t want to sound like I was exaggerating. I don’t know why they discontinued it. Fantastic stuff!

Never saw that one. Was it one of their dozens of deodorant flavors? Sounds very good.

I still see big cans at my local Save-A-Lot, Dollar General, and Family Dollar stores. Walmart.com still has some, too. Stock up now while it's still legal to buy and own!
