The Enders Speed Shaver is a great little shaver. I am glad that the carrier blade solution works as well as it does. This is a razor that deserves to be resurrected. Wish they still made the blades for it though.

    To the fellowship,

I have a question open to all.

Do you continue only cold water shaves through the winter months?

The answer is yes, no matter what the season, it's always 73 degrees in my bathroom.

Same here, @MR41 . Cold water all year long. Hot water is for showers and cleaning up the tools.

SOTD Nov 09-2019, Having a little fun with this Enders speed razor and today was a excellent day for a great shave it produced. Having a little Gem and Schick experience that comes into hand Technique with the Enders it can produce a excellent shave with a Ender's blade carrier(Jararuh's idea at TSD). The razor is nimble and a different experience when shaving because I basically engineered my shave feel and not some one else to get MY desired results. Once the carrier is set to your shave it is just shaving 101 for the next round with same settings as before + a historical OPEN COMB razor brought back into service!

Razor : Enders speed razor- MFG 1940's> for this model
Blade : Schick proline B20(1) with a Enders blade carrier modified to hold the B20
Soap : Nivea original shaving cream
    Brush : Yaqi tuxedo knot 24mm +
Presahve: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + dollop of Aloe Vera gel
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse
Post shave: Nivea refreshing aftershave + Nivea balm
    Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + Alum indicated minor irritation + 1 blemish weeper= [IMG]

I enjoy cold water rinses between lathering passes and alum testing with a for sure cold water rinse.

I do. Coldest tap water that comes out all year, so the winter shaves actually have colder water since the weather is colder. Bracing and refreshing.

Remembrance day on a MMMonday morning -20 C, so I chose a few razors that soldiers would of used during World War 1&2.
Not sure they would of shaved every day but at certain events they had to shave by military dress code I believe.

Razors : Everready 1914 + Gem MMCP 1945 Peerless model.
Blade : Gem Personna SS PTFE (1)
    Brush: Omega boar
    Soap: Williams mug
Preshave: Brush wash the face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of Aloe Vera on beard
Post shave: Alum + cold water rinse
Post shave : Pinaud Clubman with witch hazel + Nivea balm
    Results : CCS,DFS,BBs + alum indicated minor irritation + 2 blemish weepers = [IMG]

I was watching the movie Spitfire yesterday, its good the British had that aircraft made just in time before the ....hit the fan. They built over 23,000 (different variants of power)of them over the length of the war. So a tribute shave to those hero's who fought hard and out numbered 4:1 in aircraft at the start of the WW2.
