The Fellowship of Cold Water Shavers

I am now officially part of the Fellowship! It is practically impossible for me to use hot water for shaving anymore. My current living situation has an on-demand hot water heater. So every time I turn the HOT off, the heater shuts off. When I turn it back on, it takes 10-15 seconds for the cold water to rush through the on-demand heater to turn it on and start the flame to heat it again. So I stand around waiting for hot water to come out of the faucet again. The other option is to let it run (at leas 1 gallon per minute, or the heater shuts down). So I seldom use hot water for anything but doing dishes. IMHO these on-demand hot water heaters are frustrating, aggravating, and utterly worthless. Dumbest idea EVER! So until my living situation changes and I move out of here, I'm stuck with cold water shaves. It wasn't easy getting used to it, but eventually I did. I confess I sometimes go a few days before shaving because that cold well water is C-O-L-D!
