This morning i bought Truefitt & Hill 1805 Cologne at local store near me. What a fantastic scent. Wow!!! That bought, i received a message, that the "Mile High Menthol" shaving soap from Catie´s Bubbles is in stock. You know what i did... I ordered a tub. Curious on the scent as well as soap itself. Will be my first Catie´s Bubbles...heared only very good things about the soaps. Greetings Thorsten

I will do that. But i think we can´t go wrong with the soaps. The "Piment de la Vie" should smell awesome. I asked if it is possible to send me samples of their "Saturday Morning" shaving soap, "Irish coffee" and " Le Marche du Rasage" shaving soap. Hope that i will get the samples...

Picked this up at my local Shoppers Drug Mart. $13.00 CDN. Not sure why I wanted it but I think I will like the stiff bristles. I believe it's synthetic but let me know if anyone thinks otherwise.

Picked this up earlier this week for $16 at an antique store. Didn't really know what it was but I knew I didn't have one. Turns out it's a 1920 Single Ring Bulldog. Most of the gold is gone off the cap but the handle and the underside is still shiny. Unfortunately I don't have very good lighting for photography. We'll have to pop a blade in and give it a run maybe this afternoon or tomorrow.

I soaked it in hot water. The smell definitely tells me it's animal. I just tried it in some Tabac and it made a very nice lather.
Our town had its semiannual garage sale at the fairgrounds... Good deals on a couple counter act the not as good deals on the others... 5 razors, $50.... Meets my goal of no more than $10/razor.
