All hail the Easy Dozen razor rack!

I worked on a project with Jim (@Jayaruh) to create a razor rack that fit in the space next to my sink. It's custom built to hold 12 injector and SE razors. Only ten spots are taken up at the moment, so I have some room for enabling!

This was a fun project. Thanks, Jim!

I have a Gem 1912 and a Schick E2 with your name on them to fill those last 2 spots, Perry. ;)

Ok, now I'm that guy. "I bought this hone today, what is it"?
I had extra time in Norfolk today and hit a few Antiques Shops. I was able to negotiate some prices and grabbed a mystery stone for $20.
Now to figure out what I have. I wetted it in the store and could see that it was pretty slick, after wiping the dirt off. I stopped at a hardware store and bought some wet dry sandpaper and lapped it a little with 220 on the hotel granite counter to clean it. It's about 4X8 by over an inch thick. Even if it turns out to be a dud for razors, it might be good for knives.
Any ideas what I have? [IMG]

Not sure, but it looks like the last few years it's been used as a display stand for a 7/16 open end wrench.
