Nice one T!
I too have a Kells shave stick. I will be giving it a go tomorrow morning.
Yeah man,let us know how it works for you.
I got the TGR last week but they forgot to send me the moisturizer, so I got 3 moist in the mail today.
E-2 injector in great shape from Pauldog-great thorough guy to do business with
Feather portable- I really love the size and solid feel of this thing
came home to a couple packages
GFT Lime soap and Erasmic cream from a trade
Goldennib knots, 20mm Silvertip, 23mm synthetic, 24mm boar
The latter 2 will be for myself.
My latest and probably last purchases for awhile arrived today:
Provence Santé Shaving Soap x2
Provence Santé Shaving Cream - it now appears is brushless and contains SLES
Provence Santé After Shave (I actually ordered the Eau de Cologne)
Provence Santé Bergamote Soap
Provence Santé Lavender Soap (freebie)
The Body Shop Shave Cream (Original)
This has been an interesting experience with Provence Sante an order I placed 20 minutes before a deadline for a 20% discount. I may have spotted a website security issue, the country address was UK and not The Netherlands - so maybe the cause of a little delay arriving. The Shaving cream is brushless and contains SLES, and leaked in transit. I have been delivered Aftershave rather than Cologne. I hope customer services will be understanding as I may sound like a complaining git :ashamed001.
Received this beauty this morning.A nice custom handle made by Markwtb and 2 Golden Nib boar knots.THANKS MAN!
I got an open comb Gillette while in Ohio for vacation. It says "Made in USA" and needs cleaning (can anyone point me in the direction of a good method of cleaning an old DE?) I'll post pics when I figure out how to clean it
Try Scrubbing Bubbles, the bathtub cleaner. Put the razor parts in a tray, spray the Scrubbing Bubbles on the parts to cover. Let stand about 10 minutes and clean. (I use a soft tip toothbrush). Rinse. Be careful, however, if the razor is plated and lacquered.
Sterilize in Barbicide for 10 minutes, rinse, dry, and you should be good to go.
This is just one method, there are others.
I'm almost through my last tub of TBS Original cream. Nice stuff! I bought a tub of the new cream in the charcoal container. It has Maca root in it. I have to say, after two uses, I think I'm going to like it better than the Original. I also got a tube of the Razor Relief Balm. that's nice too.
Enjoy and best of luck with fixing the order.
Thanks. well I emailed them yesterday evening and still no reply:mad:.
I ordered som KoS stuff that came yesterday:
1) An Azor travel kit: razor, gel and balm
2) An Azure womens razor w/ refill cartgrdges
3) KoS Ultra Hybrid shave oil w/ menthol
4) Woman Energise and Refresh Shave Gel
5) KoS Sensitive Skin Face Balm
I'm curious about the Azor line. On close examination, the Azure seems to differ only in color and packing. I tried the shave oil this morning. I think it'll be great for a last pass.
KoS designed the handle but the blades are made by Kai of Japan.
Please post a review of the shave soap. It's one I've almost ordered a couple times. In fact if I wasn't trying to minimize shipping and going for just one vendor who didn't sell it, I would already have a puck.
The photo is of Princes Street Edinburgh from the top of the (Sir Walter) Scott Monument. Do I win a prize?
Yes, a week in Cowdenbeath.
As a mark of respect to my glorious Prime Minister :happy102, I shall let him take it on my behalf. Is second prize a fortnight? :sick007
Nope, the fortnight is in Kelty. :happy102
