My other tube is in Florida and I forgot and looked for it this morning. If only you could have seen the look on my face when I realized it was there.
This past Saturday, we went to our local Antique Mall downtown, to see what treasures I could find. I found a really nice shaving mug and an old brush for $4.00. The brush is very well used but the mug appears to have had little or no use at all. Overall very pleased with my find.
August keeps getting better...... New Jay's Clay Lathering Bowl & I filled another Old Spice Mug gap.
I'm not one to take many pics, but I had the camera out and decided to show off some new stuff and publicly thank Dale. He PIF'd the brush to me and sent along a very cool coaster he made. Thanks again Dale!
This is awesome for me...My signed copy of The Companions came in the mail today. I'm a huge fan of RA Salvatore (or Bob). So I couldn't pass this opportunity up. I may be in the doghouse a little...but it shouldn't be that bad.
^^Very Cool My folks are going out of town soon and Ma wanted to make sure she saw my face when I opened her gift, since she will be gone on my birthday. My first modern razor!! Merkur 37C ! Thanks Mom!

New additions from Steve - Pinky and (no, not the Brain) Ol' Blue Pinky is a gift for my wife and is sporting a 22mm best badger knot. Ol' Blue (name given by my wife) is a synthetic knot, which provided an outstanding lather this morning. Thanks again Steve!
August just keeps getting better and better! I just managed to snag this for a song. A rare 1985 Blue Old Spice Mug & Brush Set!
Special gift for my eldest son as his birthday is just around the corner. He currently 'borrows' my Fat-handle Tech for his morning shaves. Hopefully he will enjoy this gorgeous new chrome Edwin Jagger DE89—and return my Tech!
It's here it's here it's here and I can't wait to shave with it. Better than advertised and I've never been this excited for a razor to be honest! Edit - Discovered after some research that this is an Aristocrat #22, due to only Patent Pending being on the bottom, the Rocket style TTO knob and the shape of the head from the side view. WOO now I know what it is.
Today i received a few things... The first thing i will post NOW...the 2 other things in the evening... I got a sample in my perfumery a few weeks ago...and loved it so much. It´s such a wonderful scent...a sweet, tasty Vetiyver scent which turns into something sweet floral a few hours later.I can´t describe scents that well but for me there are flowers in the background, together with the smell of the Vetiyver it´s such a nice smell...this one blows me away.Maybe a few of you own it as well and can make a description of the scent...i´m not sure if i´m right with my description and would like to know what you guys have to say. The other things i received today will be posted later... So stay tuned...
Hello again Ladies and Gentleman, i proudly present: My 2 wonderful new (custom-made) brushes. I am sooooo endlessly happy that i received these 2 beautys. A member in our german forum made these handles for me.If anyone is interested in his works...write me.I can only highly recommend him!!! He does the handles as a hobby. That´s very important to know, because the handles have a quality that´s awesome. Now to the specifications... The Handle of the first brush is a Olive-Wood handle with a TGN 26mm 2-band knot and a loft of 53mm. The Handle of the second brush named "Honey-Stick" has a ivory handle with a TGN 24mm 2-band knot and a loft of 50mm. Like i said,it´s a hobby from him and he has done the handles all by himself.Tomorrow will be the first shave with one of them...but i don´t know which one i should use. Hope you like it as much as i do...I´m in love!!! Now i´m out...i have to look after my 2 beautys... Take care of you Thorsten
