Thank you both of you :) I'll try to tell you in detail how I do the cleaning of my razors.
At the very beginning of the process I wash them with soap then brush them with a spare toothbrush for a few minutes (the razor is still soapy). Then I rinse and put the razor(s) into a plastic bowl filled with water and pour two or three plastic bottle caps of bleach to have them rest at bleach bath for 10 minutes. If you keep the razors more than 15 minutes in bleach bath, they start to lose their nickel/crome plating so beware! After this process is done, I rebrush it again but this time I use any powder detergent available at home. Afterwards, I use a saucepan to get the razors sterilised. I let the water boil and then I put the razors in it and I wait for 5-6 minutes. This process kills the germs/viruses/bacterias, everything and you can see the nasty dirts floating in water. Later on, I use the same plastic bowl filled with water and add two plastic caps of an antiseptic solution (I use a cheap local antiseptic called zeffirol). I keep the razors in this solution for 1-2 hours depending on the stains. Later on, I wash the razors with water and brush one more time with toothpaste.
    Done!

Wow, thank you for the details. I will keep this in mind the next time I find a vintage razor in the wild. I was always afraid to use bleach, but I guess it all depends on how long it's used. Does this process have any negative effects on adjustables? Thanks again, it obviously does a great job.

You're welcome. As bleach is quite corrosive, the exposure of duration is important in deed. I applied this process to a fatboy few days ago, but I made a mistake about the duration! I kept the fatboy in bleach bath for nearly half an hour and it lost some parts of its plating unfortunately. Other than that I didn't notice any negativity on the adjusting mechanism or on the other parts. I can even say the mechanism works like charm after the cleaning.

    I'm going to say...

I'm half Danish, half Norwegian. Not that it has anything to do with water. ;)

My tap water in Portland is mountain run off. It's 100% melted snow and rain stored in open air reservoirs. It's about as clean of water as you can find on the planet. Since it's not groundwater there's no excess minerals or anything in it. I can lather most stuff really quickly. I get good lather out of Williams even.

It tastes really good. It's untreated, so our tap water is pretty much oxygenated mountain water. IMHO the tap water tastes better than most bottled waters on the market. Since it's open air reservoirs, you do have to get over the idea that birds poop in it and ducks probably make babies there. :)

It doesn't get filtered? Hahaha can you get bird poop in your glass if you turn on your tap water? Hahaha

It's filtered for particulate matter, so you don't actually get bird droppings, you just get the toilet water ;)

No, no, no... These are true open air reservoirs, not lakes. Gigantic cement ponds in the city. Our water supply comes off of Mt. Hood, and is gravity fed from the mountain all the way to my faucet. As snow melts it goes through Bull Run watershed, gets collected in underground aquaducts that go for miles and feed our reservoirs. There are several around the city. They're continually tested for bad stuff, and occasionally when it appears they have to drain the whole thing, scrub it out, and refill it. That's 7.5 million gallons, I've been told. Here's the one near me:

I really do. Effortless. Close. Consistent shaves. It's fun to be able use different types of razors, I won't explore straights because I don't have a steady hand.

My Pipe razor came in yesterday. I leaped before I looked on this one and noticed that there was a crack in the blade after I bid on it. I haven't decided what I want to do with it yet, other then the crack it needs some work but nothing too intense. I not sure is it's salvageable though...

Cortana is awesome. You can make shopping list or list in general in OneNote. With MyMix (like Pandora or IHeartRadio) you can download the stations and play it offline and save on data. With Here+ you can locate your car, with Maps+ you can download maps to use while driving without using data. This phone does so much. For the price, it's worth every penny plus a $50 tip. Some stuff is still in BETA, but I think it's a good thing so we can have our input. I hope you get it.
