I really really REALLY needed this Simpson brush:

 

I ordered the shaving bowl from Ralph at Knockoutshave.com and added the American Blend AS as well. I must say this; within a few hours I had an e-mail that my order had shipped! And on a Sunday evening too! That's some real turnaround. Can't wait to try the stuff. Thanks, Ralph.

 

The Oster Fast Feed. It is made in the USA and feels much better built than the Walh "pro" clipper I am replacing. I've saved thousands of dollars on haircuts since I started cutting my own hair. $50 for some quality clippers is a good investment.

 

At it again.

 

I picked up a tub of RR the freedburg, and hear that it pairs nicely with the Fine Platinum. Is this the version with less menthol and a longer staying scent? Im also a fan of that bowl design, but the color holds me back. Any chance the color options will increase? Thanks for the feedback and info dapper man.

 

It is. I used platinum for the first time today and I can still get a faint but pleasant whiff. SWMBO has said I have smelled wonderful all day. I found the menthol to be just about perfect. Great for the initial splash and then fades quickly. I don't know about color options. I'll talk to Ralph and see if he's contemplated it being an option. Honestly, I love this bowl so much I would care if it came in pink.

Hey I've never really thought about doing another color. But if there were enough people that were interested in another color I'd definitely be open to it.

Thats good to hear. I'm just going to throw it out there and suggest we try and make a glaze that matches the colors of the shave den website. The dark brown, deep red, and goldish color. Is that something that could be made? I'm personally a fan of green shades, but I think a color scheme based on the den would make a great item. What do you guys say?

 

Just received these from James at Shavetools. The blades are Ted Pella SE and the brush is a Vie-Long 12705 horse hair.

I was just trying to find a way to make a color glaze for that shave bowl that would be based on the colors from the shave den website. I like the KO lather bowl, but was curious if it could be made in different colors.
