Well I may have the Schick bug! I found this Adjustable Injector at an antique store an I couldn't say NO., it has the "protector" feature that some of them had. I think it cleaned up pretty good, it actually looks a bit nicer than the photo.
Incredible haul for fire sale prices, especially the Fatboy. I'm on the lookout for one myself, but they're as rare as hen's teeth in the UK outside Ebay. Regards, Chris
The Schick Adjustable works really well....I would suggest starting in the middle No 4 setting and working up as they are very mild otherwise...These work very well with twin injector blades ...Good catch... Enjoy... Billy
Got my Worcester Razor Co. back from being spruced up. Lousy photo, looks better in person. Honed to perfection. I'll be trying it out tomorrow.
A modern Wee Scot, courtesy of @HolyRollah 's August Den sale. Used it for last night's shave. I can see why aficionados refer to this as a micro Chubby, and the brush that causes people to begin a lifelong obsession with Simpson's brushes.
Got all of my August shipments into one post. Mandom aftershave. @entropy1049 posted the amazon reviews, and I couldn't not buy it. Osage Rub. Refreshing, but not sure about the smell yet. Awesome on a bandana when I have been outside in the heat. The Veg. What was I thinking? Its listed in my Den Cleaning Sale. Red Imp 133. It's previous owner took better pictures of it than this, but it looks amazing in person. @HolyRollah Union Cutlery Spike Wedge. Looks like a 1/4 hollow or a near wedge, but still awesome. The scales faded from green to this color, but I think they look pretty cool.
I bought this last month, but just got around to cleaning it up. It is, I believe, a 1911 Gillette Old Type Single Ring. (I'm sure about the year, not about the name.) Here it is as purchased. I treated it on Saturday to a bath with water, baking soda, and aluminum foil, then a rubbing down with Maaz. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted the pictures of each step. So here's the final product. I don't have a "before" pic of this one, but it's a 1918 Gillette Old Type Ball End. Both razors have the requisite cracks in the handle. I haven't taken either of them for a spin yet.
