Went to the local antique store and noticed a puck of Williams there. It's a Cranford issue and was only $2.00. What a deal!
My Mongoose came in today I had to pick up the £21 duty which is always hard to swollow, but after seeing the razor all was forgotten the fit and finish on the razor is superb the polished head is flawless not even the faintest swirl, I was also very pleased with my Jurgen Hempel custom Titanium blue anodized handle I choose a while ago it really compliments the stainless steel polished head perfectly.
Very nice. Speaking of Wilkies I've been on the hunt for a nice Flip Top one but when they come up they tend to go for crazy $60+ prices.
You bastard, its even NIB I've seen 2-3 on eBay and one on Etsy - all going for premium dollars. Thanks for that photo though....
That was quick. The scent is a great one too. edit: Just had my 1st shave with this soap.....UNBELIEVABLE, cant believe how amazing this soap is...everything is a 10/10 and it is now my top soap which all soaps/creams will be judged.
Got my handful of cologne samples from TSD shop. My girlfriend and I decided on Yin Yang, Monkey Farts, Lavender Tea Tree, and Energy. I like them all pretty good. They are much stronger then I expected. I'll have to go light on them which only means they will all last longer!! My girlfriend likes the Energy and the monkey farts best but I'm fond of the Yin Yang and the Lavender Tea Tree. I may have to get some shave sticks and aftershave milks in some of these scents later.
I bought a 1968 Gillette slim adjustable, well I bought a shaving mug and brush and they threw in the razor for free after I offered $20.
I bought blades that will fit my Valet's in anticipation of possibly doing an SE focus for September. Ten days from Thailand. Not bad!
I have the greatest wife ever. She surprised me with a 2 hour helicopter class/familiarization ride. Not only my very first time in a helicopter, but I was able to take the controls as well. They lived.
Got my orange soap and fracensense and myrrh soap, both 2 menthol from TSD, along with a leather for men sample soap, a bay rum cologne sample, Alocado (sp?) Glacial aftershave and more menthol bomb. Happy guy here! The leather for men smells great. Next time I'm going to try a cologne sample.
