There is an oil in Oland that can go rancid. I've only one bottle, but when I found it I compared it to another bottle at the shop. I chose the better of the two.

Thank you for this info, I've never smelled this scent before but it smelled "off". I might pick up more Tai Winds as SWMBO liked it.

I hauled this:

Maybe i didnt look as close as i should have.
But this was the worst sr buy ive ever made. And i bought a boker red injun knowing it had broken scales.
The bismarck came in. Wow i nominate the seller to work for glamour shots. This rag had such twisted scales you could prolly shave around the corner. Ok scales dont make a razor. Hone wear, i have never seen such wide flat pots on a spine. So big, they weren't visible on the pics.
I am going to call this one a learning experience. It wasnt terribly expensive.
I am not even gonna bother returning it. It would prolly be resold, to disappoint someone else.

Wow sorry to hear about that. It looks great in the pic you showed. Try to atleast salvage it by doing a DIY project on it

I received this tuxedo knot from @Tdmsu (thanks Paul), and completed my vintage handle restore project. It's a 24mm synthetic. Feels super soft, yet more dense than a plisson-style knot.
