This shavette is from Italy and use a regular razor blade.

I did one pass and it's very smooth

 

That's ok. The head is the real find. My Stahly head is on a Weber Bulldog handle and is one of my favorite razors.

 

Since I don't have the first clue how to re-knot, I'm gonna have to do some research. I'd love to make it as close to the original knot as possible.

Love the look of this fat handle tech. And although I have a gold fat handle tech and a prewar fat handle nickel tech, I couldn't resist the gold and black combo. At a good price too.


I received this goodwill today as well. This I got from @Drygulch . ( thank you for the sample you threw in. I appreciate it) Although the handle is incorrect I have another goodwill that I will swap heads with when I shave. I may look for a roached out gold fat handle tech that I can get the handle for using this goodwill as I love the feel of them.

Yes they are. Of all my razors they are my favorite.

 

It's become my go to for travel since I know I can get a good shave and not have to worry about nicks and irritation when away from home.

 

I received a straight in the mail, yesterday, and have been working on it since, on and off. Okay, maybe for about an hour, on some stones.

I will be cutting this brush apart for the knot to put in my new handle from Tom.

 

The Description hit the spot absolutely right!!! I adore this scent. The patchouli stays in the back but it´s still noticable. Smells wonderfull and lasts (on my skin) nearly 3 hours.
