I love the Palmolive Menthol. It is a top notch cream that is quite mentholated. Not sure if you got that or the Classic. I only have the Classic in stick form, not a cream.

I think it was the Classic. Next time I go there, I'll look closer.

Bullet Tip is the third in the Micromatic series, 1947-49ish, it introduced the milder head that would continue for the duration of GEM's production.

The Probak is a great score.

My newest razor, Enders Dollar Safety Razor, come in the mail today. The issue is that spring cap has been bent out of shape and no longer holds a blade in place. It is no longer usable to shave with. I don't know if I should reach out to the seller or not. I only paid $4 for it plus $3 for shipping. What say you, should I say something to the seller or just let it go.

NWTH (Not Worth the Hassle). I have the Christy version of this razor. Not likely the Enders blades are shave worthy, and unlike later Enders Speed and Christy Massage Bar models I don't think adapting an injector blade here is going to work out well.

Clean it up. Display in the den.
Not the shave den. Your den or man cave.

So After my Dr. Appt today I stumbled upon a little antique mall. Both for $30 bucks.

One is a Fatboy I believe and the other Silver Tip Super Speed.

Cleaned them both up and gave them a polish.

    Before and After pics

Any way I can find what date these guys were made?

You are the proud owner of a Gillette Flare and a Fat Boy; both great shavers!

Look for a letter and a number on the underside of the base plate and then Google Gillette date codes

If they're like most Chinese blades the value was overstated.

I'll advise in tomorrow's SOTD. They've gotten decent reviews.

Display it amongst your collection of vintage shave gear. It's very cool!
