    That second wind you mentioned was mostly to acquire that Barbasol. Lol i still need to flip a few more razors to get me out of the Red and into the black.. my son lent me some paypal monies.. lol he is charging me interest .. this guy is a loan shark!

    jimjo1031 never bloomed myself

    For years I've been using a Lansky knife sharpening system and had carbide ones for quick touch ups. I still have the Lansky, but my carbide sharpeners are MIA and ordered this sharpener, less than $10.00 shipped. Sharpened my favorite pocket knife, which it really needed. I've had this for many years, Italian made Browning #75, and it worked great.

    Congrats on an awesome score! I bet you'll be quite pleased with it. This is one of my favorite razors, so much so that I had to get a back up one.
    My case is the same as yours except it is branded as R.H. & Macy Co. I find it really shines with a Perma-Sharp blade.

    Sure. FWIW Macy's started adveftising the thin blades in '38 so if your set came with them that would be a clue to vintage. The '39 ad doesn't picture them so perhaps they were not packaged with set by Macy's.
