I picked up a Gillette travel set just like that last weekend! It is hardly used as well....is this called a Travel Tech?
I bid on an eBay auction and won these a few days ago (I was the only bidder) A Made Rite pure badger brush It was REALLY stiff when it arrived, but softened up and cleaned up nicely. A Simplex razor It has "7" on the bottom of the handle, not sure what that means; I could not find much info on them, but it is a great shaver. This is the lightest razor I own, so it may be my new travel razor. A Schick Injector razor This is my first injector type; not sure if I'm going to use it, so I may pass this one along. Looks like a Bakelite handle.

Oh man...Santa was very very good to me. Here are the items i got on Christmas (Pic-heavy): G.F.T. Eucris Shaving soap...The bowl is very fine. Looks great in my bathroom. iKon Slant Calani shave and shower soaps. Gentleman (shave and shower),Tulach Ard (shavesoap),Eis Engel (shave and shower) Barrister & Mann Nocturne shaving soap G.F.T. Spanish Leather Aftershave Gillette Techmatic and the last (shaving related item) Mühle Straight Razor stand. Now i have to get a straight razor which has a fine quality to fit in there. Thorsten, I suppose we are simply making Santa's job easier. Another straight razor stand delivered, plus a tub of Cella Almond. Never tried the Cella stuff, but it smells absolutely delicious!
My wife is the best! I also got an amazon gift card, which I turned into Captain's Choice aftershave and Razorock Captain's Choice shaving cream.
VERY nice - Would love to see the Wings in the Classic...but can you actually venture into the Big House without exploding into flames? LOL
I got an Ikon slant for Christmas. Looks like at least a couple others did too. My wife told me she really liked Phil at Bullgoose and said that's where she's going for future gift needs, so that's great for me . Shaved with the Ikon this morning and it really is a great razor. I shaved about 13 hours ago and I'm still pretty smooth faced. Also one of the more comfortable shaves I've ever had. One shave isn't enough to make a firm conclusion but this razor sure has some potential to be a new favorite.
I just found these four 1-cup glass jars by Anchor at an After-Christmas Sale in an ALCO Store in Devine. I loaded up my 2 new full pucks and 2 new sample pucks of Stirling soaps in them. Ready to rock and roll! Perfect size.
Christmas giftcard turned into some great shaving products!!! The scent on the ABCBA is great, much stronger than expected. The CF Lavender is possibly the best Lavender I have smelled...Hope the performance lives up to the great scent.

Away for the holiday and didn't check any baggage so I took a disposable cartridge razor with me but only had to use it the first day thanks to a couple of shopping trips. Here's what I ended up with on shopping trip day 1. An EverReady SE, a NOS Gillette Travel Tech (which now has 1 shave on it), a FA Clauberg Tonsorial Gem, and a Geo. Wostenholm & Son. The little Travel Tech only has one shave on it because of shopping trip day 2 which produced a J3 Slim in the plastic box (partly broken) with a metal pack of Gillette Super Blue blades, and a M4 Gillette Knack. The Slim was immediately scrubbed up, sanitized, and set at "9" for a shave. Ran into a Winn-Dixie and grabbed some no name DE's (TopCare, I think) and got a good shave from the TT and a great shave from the Slim. Didn't want to take a chance in my carry-on so everything got boxed up and sent with the postman so hopefully it'll arrive here by New Year's eve.
