my royal London shaving brush and a Romer 7 tto razor arrived the brush maybe never used. the razor definitely never used( still in bubble card) the romer7 is a weaker version of my cadet. maybe not a collector piece, but looks to be a sound razor. I'll try it out tomorrow.
I finally acquired my first Red Tip, a B-1, in excellent condition, no plate loss, very very minimal paint wear on the tip, I'm proud to own it. And a haul for the wife, GG Flower Grenade tallow soap and balm, she loves it!
2 soaps I have wanted to try for a looooong time! Edit: it was a christmas gift from my girlfriend. We dont really celebrare but we thought it Would be a fun thing to get eachother something small =D
Okay guys the Bullgoose head turned out to be a real P.O.S. so luckily i had a Merkur head which i had purchased from eBay. Unfortunately I don't know which model it is because the seller didn't state and at 5 bucks who cares. What I can say is that it's very aggressive compared to my other razors and pairs up beautifully with this black beauty handle which is very well made and the overall balance is lovely. Photo of head and gap below:
Sadly since I haven't found someone sells replacement Reelshav blades so I probably will never find out how it shaves. But then again, would you want to trust a piece of metal that had been wound around a spool for over 60 years to give a close comfortable shave? Neither would I. If anyone does find a boxed Realshav replacement cartridge out there let me know and I will give a fair (to me) price for it.
Now you have me wondering if my stock of 600 will get me through 2016 or if I have to buy more now...
