Good news or bad news... I guess there's not much that isn't good when it comes to our hobby. Found this Old Spice ship decanter today for $5.....right after I bought one off eBay yesterday for 3x today's price(including shipping). Just my luck. Also picked this light weight "tin cup". Shaving related or not, the price was right and I thought it looked good and should polish up nicely. Should be a nice simple display piece. Anyone have any easy tips for cleaning the corrosion from the inside?
I walked in to a men's clothing store yesterday to buy gloves. I was at the counter when something caught my eye. It was tubs of TOBS, DE razors, Simpsons brushes and Astra blades. I was surprised, as I had never seen this before in a store. I paid about $5.00 more for this tub than I would online but my go-to supplier doesn't carry Cedarwood and I really wanted to try it. The blades were another story. He wanted a dollar per blade.
Ha! Yes, a pair of brown leather for driving and scraping my windshield every morning for the next fifteen or so weeks.
Received 475 gr of original Klar Kabinett. Half of it in it's original paper/block and the rest split over a tin can and a smaller block. Used some this morning...and....sigh.....this is such a great soap.
No rose A/S which is, now that I think about it, kinda odd. I love Klar, Jabonman Rosas and Fitjar Isros...but don't own a rose A/S. Darn...now I might have to track down a good option....
I will use Thayer's Rose Witch Hazel and follow it up with St. Charles Bulgarian Rose EdC. I am trying to trade for a bottle of D.R.Harris Pink, although I've never tried it. Let us know what you find.
Received these two New Forest brushes: They joined a small, but fantastic family: ..and there's one or two more on the way....
soap commander love balm is like sticking your face in a bouquet and breathing in........ if I may interject in the conversation
I'm unfortunately "one of those" people that don't do well with Menthol - even though there's not a whole lot of it in their balms it's sadly enough
then may I recommend Crusella&co Rosa legitima 1800 no menthol, just an alcoholic rose bush in a bottle. and it's cheap as well ( inexpensive rather)
