I’ve been seriously considering a shave scuttle. Especially since the weather turned cold; having hot lather is a real treat. Scored this puppy for $10.50. Thankfully the seller decided he was a cold water shaver
I'm trying to get a Red and Blue in my birth year and quarter also. Doubt if I can find a Toggle in my price range. Maybe a British Gillette if one becomes available.
Man !! That’s awesome! I’ve been debating getting one for months. The only thing stopping me is price. Great deal! I’ll be on the hunt for one!
Used it this evening. I have an electric water pot; heated the water and filled the bottom half. I added the same to the top to soak the brush. Absorbed the water with a washcloth. After loading and building the lather, there was enough HOT lather for three passes. Good luck hunting.
Picked up 2 tubes of Aqua Velva Sensitive 5 in 1 After Shave Balm. I never tried it, but have been wanting to. They were on clearance at the Walgreens near me for $3.49 a tube. I am sure they will work out nice. Steve
I thought the same. I was looking at @mr-razor's site, and I think the only way is if it still had the original blades. Or just go by the time period they were made, for example, so and so model was made between 1955-1960.
Wonderful haul today, the new RazoRock Blue Fougere smells fantastic, the soap is huge! 10.5 oz. Ming Shi is for my youngest son, the shaving towels are mine.
More knots from Maggard so I can work on a few brushes. A restoration for a friend and one that I will likely list for sale but haven't decided yet. Need to pick between white and gold lettering on the barbers brush, will likely go gold. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Been gone for a while... Been busy collecting Bulldogs and had #11, a 1919 model, land last night. Great shaver! The later years seem a tad smoother but every bit as close... And the rest of the kennel... If I know I have a problem is it still a problem?
