Two brushes are the newest additions. A 24mm Elite Razor Manchurian White fan knot in a green milk glass handle. The 2nd brush is a 21mm Shavemac Silvertip D01 in a bulb knot.

Like I need anymore razors but the price was there and I doubt I would find one cheaper or even the same price if I had to do the international shipping thing.

Canadian Old Type, should be somewhere between 1921 - 1929 since it doesn't have a serial number.

I forgot to mention that the ball end is starting to loosen up. Are they any particular epoxies that would be more preferable than others to fix this?

My D3 Adjustable Executive came into today. I run across this on E-bay with a cup and brush. I just could not turn it down for the price. The adjustable plate was sticking and the adjustment dial was stuck. The interesting thing was that it came with a Gillette razor blade that was dated W3 (1976). To think that this razor has set unused for 42 year is amazing. The razor went for a hot water soak followed by an old toothbrush with dish detergent. After several soakings and a little penetrating oil she freed up. I then lightly polished that razor with Never-dull Wadding Polish. There is some slight gold loss on the doors and safety bars but other than that it looks amazing. 20181217_153112.jpg 20181217_190806.jpg

Nice clean and restore. Those usually are the most rewarding razors to use.

Thanks and yeah it is for a razor that is almost 100 years old and hasn't been restored at all. I still need to get some silver polish and shine it up. I don't know if Canadian old types are any different from the American versions but I am going to find out.

I bought a can of Eagle One Never-Dull Wadding Polish at Walmart today. I have started polishing on as Adjustable Slim and really like the way this stuff works. I just finished lightly polishing an Adjustable Executive and really like the way it performs. Was a little worried because of the gold finished but it worked out great.

I did............I understand the the gold finish on these razors are real thin. I basically gave a light rub down.
