I just got back 2 of my 8 razors that were supposedly lost to the ether.. these populars look pretty good and alot better than they did when i sent them out. The gold one is not perfect.
there is a long story to it that involves theft and lying. Either way im glad to have these back. Out of the 8 razors 2 came home. I hope one day the other 6 are given back. Fyi.. Dan Varga aka Razor Refresh is a thief and a liar.

Just received this in the mail today, decided to clean this little 22mm Yaqi Sagrada Familia 2 band badger up for tomorrows shave. Very nice brush while cleaning it up, felt good to the hand while cleaning so we will see tomorrow. I have been wanting this for some time and it came up at a good price and pulled the trigger. I have the 24mm synthetic Sagrada Familia and have really been enjoying it since I bought it 2 years ago on another sale. Yaqi Fanboy [IMG].

Finally received this razor I ordered a while back. We had terrible Atmospheric rivers recently that hit our neighbouring Province of British Colombia that washed out roads and bridges so most mail service was halted until they figured how to get parcels moving again.
Any ways I bought this stainless steel head because it was new from Yaqi and found out it looks similar to the Henson razor. Will take it out for a spin tomorrow, it has mostly a machined finish and looks quit good, the handle is a Yaqi Razzo Rocket IMO.

Razor: Yaqi 316 stainless steel head with a Yaqi Razzo Rocket handle- Mfg 2021, upper mid range(this head) 1st shave, the razor did a reasonable job of shaving, the machining of the head is not the best for centering blade 6.5/10, but the rest of the machining is very acceptable. It must be a hard to machine the top cap because I use to machine parts. There is enough blade feel that compensates for inaccuracies of centering the blade for my mature technique, but final results tell me that it is still a reasonable razor to work the face regardless IMO.

I received some blades from a friend, 100 Bic Chrome Platinum blades, and also a very new-looking Schick Type N razor. My injector collection is really coming along. I also like the box style of the Bic blades.

I continue to build up my GEM razor collection, today adding a 60s Contour. It's a mild shaver from what I understand and I'm excited to try it!

Yes, that’s the case (relined), but the razor has no serial #, so maybe from the 20s.
With some Mothers, it was exposed as in tremendous Mint condition. Pretty nice for 100 years:

Looks in good shape your Gem Contour pushbutton, you can not go wrong with a Gem razor even if it is a little mild. I recommend the Gem Personna SS PTFE blades if you want a good shave. Enjoy!
