The Haul: February 11th- February 17th, 2008

I'll start off this week: a W. Belk (Sheffield) 6/8 round point straight. (I'll post a pic tomorrow.)

 

For once I bought something!

I now have no more money. But now I get to pass down a brush, cream, and old razor to all my friends. I'll have them all addicted to DE shaving in no time

C.V. Heljestrand No4
Fjäril Razor (Ruba)

 

excellent condition Johan they will be great shavers I can tell by the blade.

Indeed! I was surprised myself! The C.V. Heljestrand can't have been used very much. The Fjäril (Ruba) has some rust on the spine, but nothing a good polishing treatment can't fix! Both held a nice edge and I've just honed and stropped the Heljestrand and will give a testdrive in just a moment!

Some T&H 1805 aftershave splash from their Chicago store. Nice handwritten note and, to my surprise, some Penhaligon's shaving cream samples.

 

That's quite the group of samples.

As for me, I finally got my Omega brush. I was going to sell it new but I have to use at least once.

 

I thought I already saw you selling it

 

If someone had offered to buy it, I would've given it up. The brush only came today. After looking at the real thing and since no showed any interest, I've decided to use it a few times. If at that point I still want to sell, I'll price it to move.

I am jealous of all those T&H samplers after being disappointed by TOBS avocado cream.

 

Today I received a package from a member at www.gut-rasiert.de , it contains:

- A bottle of "L'Erbolario VETIVER DE LA REUNION Acqua Di Profumo" (what a great scent, mmmm, delicious...:w00t::w00t:

- 1 CHANDRIKA soap bar (Ayurvedic-Soap)

Yesterday I've received a shaving cream and an after shave gel from a seller at ebay.uk, available in different scents, so I've choosen "Fahrenheit" (by Dior).

Now I must try it and see how the sc and the asg works for me.

Thanks Steve, this L'Erbolario Vetiver is a very nice scented EdT, smells really good..., a treasure...
