Wow that picture makes the Little Bastone look much better than the others I've seen. I may have to reconsider getting one to kick around to travel with!
Yeah it looks pretty nice. It is a little short so it would probably make a good travel razor. Typically when I travel I just take some cheap disposable razors for fear of one of my good razors being damaged or stolen.

I actually find the open comb razors I have tried to all be closer shavers than this slant. I was expecting a face shredding experience with all the horror stories I've read lately. I used a Wilkinson Sword blade which is fairly mild but one that has always worked well for me. I would recommend the Merkur slant to anyone interested. Now an open comb slant would be something if it exists.
Oooo it does, search for Fasan slant razor Looked a little bit more, there are some Ziglar oc slant's and looks like even the Merkur made OC slant at some point..
