Please keep in mind that I have no experience with the Autostrops but I understand that the VC1 can use a modied Gem blade. The video below explains it better than I can.

 

my brush came in. Not bad for a free brush.

I got this curved top GEM 1912 in from a great member here. Used it before work with a PAL blade. Great shaving razor.

No pics yet but received today a replated Senator from a fellow member, plus a nice assortment of blades. Four days growth is just waiting to come off with utmost pleasure. This MAY be my final razor when the great reduction commences.

 

Finally got my package from Israel!

Epsilon Horse, Tabac shaving soap, MEM with olive oil, MEM with allantoin, so far. Sorry I don't post pics, I get skeeved out by the thought of touching my shaving gear after using my ohine, phones are filthy btw.

 

After a couple weeks of waiting. I received these 2 beauties

Thin handle tech and a 2 piece RFB. The tech is the longer thin handle version. See the 3rd pic for comparison to my other thin handle
