Is the metal part of the brush aluminum? If so, how would I restore and polish it? Fine grit sandpaper and a Dremel w/Flitz?

Mother’s Aluminum Polish is incredible stuff. You’ll be amazed how great it looks with just hand buffing!

Thanks to @Juno for sending me this complete Rolls Viscount razor set. I always wanted to get one, and this is a great set. Now to learn the basics of sharpening the blade so I can shave with it. Also a Gillette Gold Tech case, which needs a little care. And a WW II Gillette Tech with bakelite handle...............

Yesterday a package came in from the Holy Black with a Valentines gift for my wife. I bought her their Scarab EDP as something a little different.

Today the mailman brought a new razor to me. I never tried an Enders. I just have to figure out the blade thing. I was surprised on the size. They look bigger and chunkier in photos, but they seem smaller in person and rather light. I always dig trying different types of razors.

Thanks Gary. I'm going to head over to the antique store to see if they have any blades today to experiment with.
They have lots of blades but not too many razors.

Today was a good day. A full Avon Decanter - '64 Mustang with Tai Winds AS - and a bottle of Shulton OS. If I got my facts straight, I believe it's a 1957 style bottle. Smells great. IMG_20200216_174344381-800x600.jpg IMG_20200216_174416454-600x800.jpg IMG_20200216_174424872-600x800.jpg
I forgot OS was once owned by American Cyanamid. My dad was a chemist there (Willow Island, WV), and my brother spent his career in production. I worked there as a college student the summer of '88. The plant store had a CRAP LOAD of OS gift sets. If I had known then what I know now, I would have spent all my pay ($10.87 an hour plus shift differential) on all those sets and retired a wealthy man. Instead, I bought an engagement ring (that was later returned to me), put a rebuilt engine into my first car (mom's '78 Malibu Classic), and paid a year's tuition. What a waste.

An Ever-Ready 1924 Shovel Head travel razor, to replace the one I sold. Already re-lined the top and just dabbed on some matching red paint where the bottom had some worn areas showing some white thread. Also an extra blade for the Rolls Viscount razor............
