I got what I think is a 1921 New Improved? I thought it was a Bostonian. The best I can figure, Bostonian started in '22. What's the difference in the 2 other than the cases? One says New Improved and the other says Bostonian on the inside of the lid. Oh well. Now I have to find a decent case and blade holder for this one. The picture with the blades is the way I got it. A little Dawn and silver polish does wonders. Sorry about the crappy pictures. It's been one of those weeks.
    Edit: I changed the pictures

Thursday night I came home to a package containing the razor I have been wanting for a long time - Schick's New and Improved Type F Injector. I have been searching for a good useable example for some time and every time I found one it got away for one reason or another. This one is in fairly good shape. I cleaned it and then polished it some more this morning before my inaugural shave with it. It really shines now. It was a great performer and very smooth. It was a tad less aggressive and a bit smoother than my E2 and therefore I preferred slightly more. Maybe it was just my first impression combined with the "Yes I am shaving with my Holy Grail razor" factor, but it was definitely a delight to use. My only negative criticism is the fact that it is kind of slippery. The handle grip is not great. The razor was polished smooth and I used some alum to improve the situation. Not a big problem to resolve. I hope my future shaves are just as good with it. It is a beauty and I really enjoy it. I'm sure it will earn its spot among my favorites. It already has a head start with one of the coolest vintage deco designs!

    Nice find.
I saw one on eBay yesterday that was already up to $200 with 30 bids.
I'm hoping to find one by accident in a thrift shop where the vendor doesn't think it's worth anything.

Here’s my recent scoop of a “special razor” — a NOS Suzumasa 7/8 “Best Swedish Steel” razor. Blued tang and sits very tightly and perfectly centered in the scales. Both the razor and coffin look as though they were produced in the past year. Heading to the hones momentarily:

You could get an Artist Club style razor and use guard type blades. They don't shave too bad at all.

I was hoping the same, but I haven't been too lucky in the shops by me. Very few razors available. I picked up an E2 and Rolls in decent shape but they consistently have less and less. I was at one last weekend looking for some old Enders blades to modify as carriers and saw nothing. One of these days I will get lucky but I think I will probably have a better chance hitting the lottery lol. Some day we'll get that rare find. I'm beginning to think it is cheaper to buy on online because every time I go, my wife wants to buy more stuff and I never find any razors.
