Got a puck of vintage Williams. I will try it this morning.

 

the tech is a pre war fat handle,the other a superspeed.if you post a pic of the superspeed i could get a closer estimate of the year.guessing 48-51 if it has a notched center bar and no date code on baseplate..could be 51 as it appears to have the slimmer head.

 

Just in. I just received my new Supply The Single Edge SE razor. It is scheduled for its first shave Thursday morning. I hope it is as good as this razor looks.

 

I've seen the fb ad so many times i've been tempted to buy one myself lol

 

Wednesday UPS delivery is from WCS. I got Wickham Soap Co Citrus Musk & Parma Violet shave soaps.

 

Branched out to other soaps. this is big for me since I have used Sterling Sandpiper pucks exclusively for years.

 

Nice haul. All good selections.

 

Excellent choices.

 

I couldn't pass up on this frankentech at an antique store for $5 today. I really like the leather case. It looks like a new improved head, but it's not an open comb.

A Q shave scuttle and a gillette slim.

 

Reed&Barton bowl and brush set. It came with a still-wrapped puck of Old Spice shave soap. I was the only person who bid on it, which surprised me. (I've seen people pay more for just the soap.) The only info I found online was an ad from 1981, when the set went for $50. The "badger blend" brush looks unused, so I may try it before I re-knot it. Now I have to decide if I want to keep the patina, or polish the silver plate and have it monogrammed. Feel free to vote!
