New week, so post it up, folks! What goodies did you get this week?

 

Was in Grand Forks, ND for the weekend, and I brought home a few goodies!

Received my refill order of Aftershaves. I prefer to order larger quantities, and I'd like to think that this one will last me a while...

Well, I've gotten behind this month, so I will just post these all together. The USPS has been good to me this month.

First they delivered a Semogue 1305


Then they delivered a Semogue SOC


Then they delivered a Semogue 1460


I am waiting on one more package that may or may not get here before March 4th. If it does, I will add it here.

And on the first day of March, I got this.

Johnny, I don't know who you got rid of your Duke and added all those boars!? I just can't enjoy a boar brush near as much as my badgers. My horsehair is even better for me than my boars. Maybe it's lack of experience or pent up and repressed anger with my first boar, the VDH which I really didn't like. My Semogue 1250 feels and works much better than that VDH, but still I don't like it anywhere near my badgers. Have you tried a horsehair yet?

 

No sir, I have not tried a horsehair brush. I enjoyed my badger brushes but used boar long before I used badger. Aaron and Nick got me to try an Omega and I really liked it, the started getting the Semogue brushes. I've got less money tied up in the three brushes above than I did in my Duke 2. I have no regrets.

 

No doubting the value/$ things with you at all. My wallet wishes that my face enjoyed the boars at least 1/2 as much as a badger. Enjoy them as I do enjoy seeing your pics of them.

Got some nice Polish Creams from Alpla (Dean) and they are a treat to use . Impulse buy of some Colgate Soaps on ebay, but the boxes alone are worth it . I like the old two tone Colgate box from the 50's or 60's ? and the other box advertises what looks like a badger, Eveready Shaving Brush for $8.50 but we are a bit late it expired in 1981.

I was so excited about seeing the Schick I overlooked the super speed.

 

Nice haul, Dusty!! Is that Dovo the one with blonde scales? They look orange in the pic, but I haven't seen orange scales before.

When I was shopping for the Persian Musk....I saw Vulfix 404 Bodger at a really good price......so I bought it as well! I have heard so many good things about this brush!

It's a new Revisor 6/8 razor with horn scales The spine is tastefully gold. It will be a little time before it will be shave ready.
