That travel Tech is gorgeous. I'd like to know the background of the box; seems like an aftermarket thing.
Nice, it's beautiful. Part of me wants a travel Tech very badly, but I'd also like to make a travel kit with my own Tech. We'll see.
My latest Original Shulton Old Spice just arrived from India. 3 weeks as promised. 100 ml $9.45 delivered. I am going to transfer it to my glass Old Spice "Flying Cloud" bottle shortly.
Two new acquisitions. First an Above The Tie M2. Actually, I received it about 2 weeks ago. I reviewed it but never published a picture. Today I received an Edwin Jagger Chatsworth. I haven't used it yet but it sure is a good l ooking razor.
I have to wait for my next haul (Most likely unless some other AD kicks in) saw on Twitter today that the Simpson Synthetic Chubby 2 will still be another 6 weeks(ish).
Ok, just purchased 100 Tiger blades made in the Checoslovakian Republic. They are the 3 hole type. I will try them out soon and update on my experience. Had anybody else tried these yet?
I received my Merkur progress last week, used it yesterday for the first time. An absolutely great shaver! Plastic knob and all. Also now have 444. Now after 18 hours, my face is still BBS... Yeah baby! I've got to get me a Gillette slim twist! Very sleek! Have you used it? If so, please review.
Just received my latest order from The Italian Barber...a Simpson Wee Scott brush (1st Simpson) with RazoRock San Valentino and "King of the Castle" Son of Zeus shaving soaps. I had already received 40 Durham Duplex blades for my Durham Duplex razor - could not believe I found them, and that, without looking for them. Looking forward to using the new soaps with my new Simpson. Also received multiple AS and Cologne samples to try out from TSD, Creed, and Penhaligon's, as well as a REALLY good deal on Creed Green Irish Tweed and the cologne Ronald Reagan used to wear - Royal Briar. Still have a couple orders on the way...I swear, the SAD only builds on itself!
I love the"black and chrome" look and I don't own a Maggard razor yet, so, I m may just have to purchase one ;-). Especially since we seem to have similar tastes in the finer things in life.
Got my vintage Straight from our member 3Drew101. It's small little W&B with original nature buffalo horn scales. So excited to try it out! Looks great! Mirror finish, but not overly restored. Love to see some little signs of wear so it shows it's age. Have been wanting a vintage W&B for a while now. Glad I contacted Drew. This thing makes me happy.
I had some a few years back that were then current production and were in yellow boxes with red border. I liked them , they were sharp and could occasionally bite but they were quality to me.
