I have one of these as well. Definitely a great razor for the price. And the dark finish looks nice as well
"The price was right" gets me every time also. Remember doubles like hockey cards are great for trades.
Razor and Soap I picked up from a local antique shop. AS from Walgreen's. Razor is an Ever-Ready but don't know the year. Gonna see if this soap is shaveable
Tabac cologne and a new Stetson. Found this today in the wild. It has a section on shaving mugs. I've always passed on this type of mug, but I thought it might be an interesting read.
Is it not cheaper from India? I'm thinking if you like them, you could order again because you have a few you won't be waiting for them. You use the ones you have until they arrive and refill your stock =)
No pics but a local resale shop I haunt had a new pair of Lucky Jeans in my size. Never heard of 'em before but "Made in U.S.A." caught my eye. Six bucks later I took 'em home, washed, dried, and am wearing them now. Very nice, I'm impressed. Then I looked online to see how much they'd have cost new. Now I'm really impressed. Since I hit 40 and can only wear them on weekends or days off, I have owned only one pair at a time. Now I can pitch the Levi 514s that have a hole started in the crotch (again, no pics).
They're very nice...consistent color finish all the way around, even hems, solid stitching. Not sure what ringspun cotton is supposed to mean but I expect I'll get years out of them. What say you?
Received a lovely, early, silvertip NF brush today - along with a Palmolive stick that the seller kindly added as a much appreciated surprise gift. It's a soap I've actually never tried before but have heard great things about. I think these two will be part of my SOTD on Monday
Am I correct in that they are discontinued - or is that just in the UK? I have some foggy memory of something like that but may be wrong...
