The Haul: January 2021

My poor man's hot tub is gas powered by garbanzo beans. That is a discarded kiddie pool and it only heats water on sunny days.

 

Just got this in the mail a few hours ago. New 2nd generation Razorock Lupo.72 razor. Man this has been like a Marathon waiting for this to finally be MFG in just Stainless steel. It was worth the wait. Very nice with good quality machining, now lets see how it shaves?

Here's a post war ball end gold plated Gillette tech 3 piece razor I finally received in the mail after ordering it exactly 1 month ago off eBay. It's not as pristine as my 1951 ball end tech but it was really cheap. The gold plating isn't as thick as it once was but it's still there. The seller claimed he cleaned it and it was shave ready but I gave it a good clean up in very hot water using a mild dish soap and old toothbrush. After a little further polishing with an old sock it looks much better than it arrived and ready to be used.

Thanks! I saw your post too! I plan on using this one more than my other 1951 nickel plated tech. The nickel plated one is in hardly used condition and I'd like to keep it that way for the collection. I will most likely be using the gold one for next months February 30 Day Rule so I can get used to it.

I received a generous pif of a Cobra Classic and King Cobra with two handles. I decided to make a case for them, so here it it.

50% ethyl alcohol and get a lot of that sniffing off the bottle. Using tomorrow and see how it is applying.
