    I've received yesterday from a trade with a member at www.gut-rasiert.de/forum , a handcrafted shaving soap "Cedarwood" from WARO (Bernd Wahr) > www.feineseifen.de .

    Today in the mail an audio disc > America "The Definitive America", a really great band with great songs...:signs021:signs021

    Jim, that Plisson HMW #12 is a very striking brush. I'd like to hear how you like it.

    Steve, I have a real affinity for the vintage brushes...I am confused about how to tell if they're badger or not. Some will have the PB designation but so many others are not so clear.

    Today I've received a package from www.feineseifen.de :
    It contains:

    - 2 tubs with lid, made from olive wood,
    - 1 Agar Musk shaving soap,
    - 1 Lemongrass shavingsoap
    - 1 Lavender shaving soap and
    - 1 Rosegarden shaving soap

    Tom, most of the one's I've come across have been marked "badger" or "bristle". Even if it's not marked, by handling many brushes you learn to tell the difference. Nylon is the easy one. :D It's taken me a while to find a couple of good ones that were keepers. A lot of the time they are shedders, sometimes the hair is brittle and breaks off in little pieces. The Ever-Readys and some of the others are not densely packed, these were not premium brushes but some of the handles are quite nice. There is something nostalgic
    about a vintage "drug store" brush.

    Already tried some of these this morning. Very nice.

    Late 1960's, early 1970's wrap around "copper" cufflink set.

    Talkin' bout soap:
    I just won an auction on ebay for an unknown C&E-soap. Don't know anything about it, but it does look kinda vintage :drool
    Anybuddy know anything about it?
