    Well, it looks like I finally got a real Gillette Single Ring. It was labeled as 'unmarked', but it had the 'made in USA' stamp, and _half_ of the Gillette stamp. It was either not stamped completely, or there was some extra wear.

    It came with a box of "GEM Premium Edge" in a 15 count dispenser (only 12 blades). Not sure what to do with those, not that interested in vintage SE blades. The box is in good shape and the blades look to be as well.

    Serial number H7762*9 (Asterisk because of a bad stamping), so 1918.

    Here's what my new Single Ring looks like, after a couple of hours of soaking and ultrasonic bath. No heavy toothbrush, no polishing at all.
    $9.74 after shipping. (including the plastic GEM razor dispenser. I didn't take a picture of that yet, just the box) I think I got a good deal, and I can always put it in the box that my clone single ring arrived in.

    Finally 3 knots for the handles that my buddy and I plan to turn. I think the 28mm will be my wife's since shes so good to me!
