A (I think) 1949 3rd Gen Gillette flat plate Aristocrat.

User grade,
The case is all there but has a few challenges. The razor is good and works fine but is caked in crud and will need a good cleaning. The blades are a nice bonus (5 ish remaining) and i will be trying them out.

For the money (€25) i am thrilled

 

Thursday mail call. On the left is a NOS Snoopy Decanter filled with Avon Wild Country aftershave that I won in a pif on The Shave Den forum. On the right is a La Toja shave stick. In the middle is a 1955 Gillette Diplomat with original case and packet of Gillette Thin blades. This razor I'm saving as a birthday gift for me. My first shave with it will be on my birthday in December.
Thank you @cliffb599 for the Snoopy decanter. It will be put to good use.

Arrived yesterday but was busy and didn't have a chance to post .
These 2 beauties are another gift from our very own John @John Ruschmeyer . Awhile back he sent me 3 1/2 lbs of SE razors that I use and cherish .I think John shows the true meaning of the word "generous ".
Been itching to try one of these pieces of art from yesteryear and he made my dreams come true . Words cannot describe my gratitude to John for his generosity and thoughtfulness. He is a true gentleman and why I am so proud to be a member of this fellowship of wetshavers. Cheers John!

Got B, C & D with 3.5” handle, I realised the brass version is heavier than the Stainless Steel and the balance feels FANTASTIC!!!

 

De nada. As I said, the gold one (VC4) is identical to one that I already have and I hardly need two of them. The OC one (VB1?) is old enough to take a de-spined Gem Blade, so you can use it while hunting down an original AS blade or a Feather.

Today I got my birth year & quarter (F4=4th quarter 1985) Gillette Black Handle Super Speed. It is in almost pristine condition and I was able to buy it from eBay for $16 with free shipping.
