    My first Grizzly Bay brush (with a well broken in) Omega 10098 knot, @RyX I got tired of that cheap black plastic handle. :D This 5 year old knot deserved a worthy handle.

    That's a beautiful handle for a handsome knot Mark! They go well together. The new handle is close enough to the O Pro 98 profile it should take no time to join your line up. I can guess what the old handle looks like having taken one apart myself.

    He is the expert. I watched his videos to learn how to take off the retaining cap. My big concern is whether the T-bar is repairable.

    Today I received a package from Italian Barber. I picked up the unique Switch and Lupo razors. These are machined extremely well and look great. I can't wait to try them. Unfortunately the Lupo had a defect with the mounting screw bent so the head is at a slant. The fine folks at Italian Barber apologized and promptly responded, promising to send a new replacement cap. I trust their service will be impeccable and the razor will be an outstanding shaver. I can't say enough how precise the rest of the machining looks and what a great value these razors appear to offer. I guess I will be using the switch tomorrow!

    Possibly .... he repaired a birth year razor of mine (black handled flare, N3) using silver solder.
