Saturday mail call is a NOS His Excellency Solidified Shaving Cream. The seller thought it’s from the 1970’s but I think it’s much older than that as there is no barcode on the box. Also I got this Gillette flipper token. If anyone has any information on the flipper coin let me know. 7F6C5279-98B6-4210-AF96-B14B3649FBCA.jpeg BED6A306-1B36-4518-9E8C-815E30106A22.jpeg 610112C2-7167-48EB-A3EB-BA60CC24267B.jpeg

They are similar but the knob gives it away besides having all the American stampings. They are cool and unique in that it is the only American made Gillette razor that was fully plated in rhodium. The President razors only the handles are rhodium plated and not the heads.

I got it on a best offer actually, I won't say what I offered but I will say I could flip this razor for a nice tidy sum above that if I don't keep it. I've owned a few of these before but always wound up trading or reselling them. They look really nice and all but are very mild shavers.

I was actually in the process of putting on offer on that same razor & before I was able to...poof it was sold . I'm glad to see it went to you though.

They do show up mislabeled quite a bit. That is where the bargains are if you actively hunt for one. I threw a sinker not a lowball and got the seller to swing on it if that is any indication. It could be yours next if you want to trade razors. You have a certain Schick razor I'd trade it for in a heartbeat if you ever decided you wanted to part with it.

Do you mean my beautiful Schick Instamatic Band razor? :happy097: Just kidding...if I ever do decide to part with that certain Schick razor which I'm sure you are referring to though, I will be sure to give you a heads up one Schick aficionado to another.
