I see mentioned made of numbers when referring to razors e.g. #25, #26, #58
Are these referring to the set (razor and case?) or just the razor?
Also, are these numbers designated by Gillette or by collectors?

Nice to have the case! Nice butterscotch handle!

Is that a Belknap Hardware Bluegrass Claw Hammer? Very nice ...... I'm more into framing hammers though.

The expand on what Brit said, this is a uniquely British thing, and Australian too, to a more limited extent. The case + the razor makes the set. Some razors are unique enough that a razor alone can be designated with a number. The No. 15 open comb Aristocrat and No. 58 Aristocrat Jr. being the most well known examples of this. Many times the razor is somewhat generic and may have had four or five different numbers, depending on the plating and case that came with it.

American Gillette's are not immune to the "case makes the set" syndrome either, with the same razor being sold at different price points depending on the plating and case. This mostly went away after the 1930's, while the British never really stopped until the late 50's (...ish).

Seems like I get many of those Rubberset brushes like the 1st one on your pic a lot. I have one with a blue ferrule waiting to be restored.

Pretty much the same way as the ABC sets weren't named for the razor, but the case used for the set. Just like Old Type OC razors, sets were named for the case, as the razors were the same.
