Ya... I have almost more scuttles than mugs now and have never used or have any idea how yo use them. I know the concept but not the procedure.
Went to an estate sale yesterday and scored some good stuff: A mostly full pint bottle of Clubman, opened tub of Lucky Tiger menthol aftershave cream, a 12 pack of 80 gr. alum blocks, A Hess EXT Shave and two boxes of Personna blades for it, A straight marked Economy Supply Co. , Solingen Germany, 950 with 44-20 printed on the scales, and finally, A Marvey rubber mug and a pack Barber brand injector blades. There doesn't appear to be anything saying who made them on the package. I also went to a antique store that's closing and scored these for $10 The after shave bottle is a 2 1/2 oz. That's about half full.... oh and when I removed the plastic cover look what I found !!! I didn't think I would ever find an unused puck of Old Spice soap. All in all a good day.
Oops just noticed the Lucky Tiger was unopened not opened. Also I was going try out the Hess before going to work last night and when I opened a box of the Personna blades I thought that's odd there are more than five blades in here, even odder they're not wrapped. So pulling a blade out I saw that on it and then bits of hair. I then checked several boxes randomly in both packs and came to the conclusion, yeah you guessed it, I had bought two full cardboard blade banks. Oh well, it could have been worse, I left four or five boxes on the table. So next time I will check something like that out before I buy it.
These two boxes arrived from France this weekend. I ended up taking a few photos of them and posted them in a separate thread here not to clutter up this one
Very nice Bob. Is it safe to say that those are some of Steve's handywork? I have a pair similar....I will try and post them on here soon.
I used to know a pipe smoker and the smell was wonderful. Nothing like cigarettes. Is this anything like pipe tobacco?
