No concerns there I have a number of large antique malls close by so everything I buy is in my hands before money is traded. The downside is I live not far from several major cities and some places try to make a killing on everything they sell.

There are 2 parts to the handle, small one fits in the larger one for storage and they thread together to make the handle for use. I saw one of these at an antique store and they wanted $50 for it so I decided to surf eBay for one and found this one for $10 shipped thought it was cool and I had to have it. You don't see them every day. Can't wait to see how a German razor shaves, my guess is it's just like an American razor but it just says Germany on the under side. lol

 

German razors only work well if one hand is holding onto the razor and the other is holding a beer.

 

I do believe there is another at a local shop here for $55. I had to pass on it.

This soap smells incredible, I really like Rhino, I love Civet

 

I have one just like it. Gives a great mild shave; almost foolproof. I won't part with mine.

I got four synthetic knots, Lucky Tiger, and a set of scales (not pictured) from Maggards. They were delivered last Wednesday, returned to Maggards, and then sent back to me. I am glad they finally arrived. That Lucky Tiger is very nice.


I had ordered 4 horse hair knots from Virginia Sheng. I only got one. I have let them know I want the other 3. First problem I have ever had with them.


I got 12 synthetic knots. These look pretty good. I have enough knots to get to 200 now.

 

I have one of those travel razors, pretty neat. I thought for some reason Merkur made them. I could be wrong.

 

It doesn't look like anyone received their OneBlade Core. @clint64 ? @Boojum1 ?

 

Got an email this morning promising shipping by tomorrow with guaranteed delivery before Friday. Got an email an hour ago with a FedEx tracking #.

 

Just received my Damaskeene OC back from Sport Shaving. I am very pleased with the work Nick did.
