I just returned home to the states from a trip to Germany last week. I wanted to pick up something shaving related and regional. So Saturday, walking around Frankfurt, I bought a bottle of Maurer & Wirtz Echt Kölnisch Wasser No. 4711 Original Eau de Cologne to add to the den along with some goodies for the family. 4711 is a great bright and classic fragrance that I thoroughly enjoy. My daughter is 11 and really appreciated the miniature fragrance sampler I bought for "daddy's big girl". Home runs all round!

While out of town, I saw that Charcoal Goods restocked their limited release Tritium Brass Bishop Handle. I picked up the dark antique finish. The handle is 3.5in long and is claimed to weigh about 52g. It was waiting for me when I returned home yesterday. It came packaged beautifully with some Personna blades and looks great. The only down side is that they did not have any heads for sale. I wish they would have put first time buyers on a wait list since, without a head, the handle is kind of just waiting. Oh well. I also expected something darker based on the photos on the site, but that's fine because it still looks great. I am now on a wait mission for a head - and so is half the shaving community. I will just keep watching!

That, Sir, isn't just a haul. It's a Haul! I've never seen that many adjustable Gillettes in one photo. Lots of gold, too. Good job getting them off the streets and in into your den where they are safe!

lol unfortunately most of these aren't mine. I have a buyer who asked me to do some buying on his behalf. The milord, old type and SE are the only ones that I bought for me. The others will hopefully be going to a good home.

Not yet. You have to order them separate, but I have put it off until I buy a new head. I may buy them sooner, but wanted to wait until I returned from Germany. Just after buying the handle, I had credit card fraud occur and it was a bit of a hassle, especially being in Europe at the time.

Received a trade of soap from a fellow shaver and very nice user grade 56' Gillette Red Tip from ebay.

It maybe missing the caps, but I think it has character.

 

Those end caps can be replaced. That red tip really pops. Nice score.

 

The wonders of Dollar General nail polish. Less than $2. Razor, shipping and restore ... >$10. What a deal! What a deal!

Box of Crunchy King cereal from Dollar Tree. Imagine a cut rate Mexican version of King Vitamin. Actually wasn't bad. Suprisingly less sweet than that type cereal usually is.
