Some very nice hauls Ladies and Gentlemen
I really like the brush with the old sailing ship stingraysrock !

I received a couple of goodies from Fendrihan on Friday.

Then on Saturday my wife (Lynn) and I found a new antique shop.
    Pictured here is Saturdays find.

A nice shave mug and brush, the mug still had a cake of soap in it.

A "Premier-X98-professional" straight razor, I have already honed this and used it this morning, little work to do to clean it up yet. Not sure when it was manufactured.

Some antique curling irons, which my wife is collecting...she got the bug.

And a 3 piece Gillette in the tin. Haven't not found much info on this razor yet. It was manufactured around 1909. I think it is a "Pocket Edition with a ABC handle".
The blade tin is engraved with " Gillette-Known the World Over". And the underside of razor tin is engraved with the patent dates for 14 different countries and King Gillette's signature.

I have not cleaned it up yet and will repost as soon as I pick up some Barasso.
Any help with identifying this Gillette would be appreciated.
    Serial # is...
    B 15604 2 ...or
    D 15604 0 ...or
3 15604 ? cant make out the first and last digits.

    The date if a B is 1909, if D is 1916...

Great find... I have an ABC Flower Handle from 1917

I'm glad that Jeff was able to receive his puck of "Lusty Lad's Lardy Lather" (this is the new name after my wife disapproved of the other name). Remember, I want a shave report from a "Skilled Bladesman" like you.

    My haul is as follows:

    5 Dorco 301 and 10 Red Personna's from Jeff.

A fat-handled Gillette Tech from an antique store.

A Aloxite Safety Razor Hone from a garage sale.

A 1940's vintage Old Spice Shaving mug, a Rubberset 200-3 shaving brush and a vintage Williams Tonsorial shaving soap puck from a garage sale. The brush smells like the Williams soap.;)

I really like that green brush! I need to track one down...or, seeing how green is not your favorite color, you could just unload it on me. I will do you that favor....
